Michaela Staton is an art director and designer based in Washington, D.C.
She is currently the Assistant Art Director at Foreign Affairs magazine. She has worked at agencies, in-house, and within nonprofits focusing on editorial design, branding, art direction, typeface design, lettering, and photo editing. She holds an MA in Communication and Typeface Design from the University of Reading and a BA in Graphic Design from Anderson University. She frequently enjoys dancing, taking photos, working in a printmaking studio, and a good book.
